Operation Aware and Tulsa Public Schools Partnership continues.
Operation Aware is the only comprehensive prevention education program in the Tulsa Area. Our Prevention Educators, armed with the most current, age-appropriate curriculum, empower children by giving them the resources to build healthy relationships, resist the temptation of drugs and alcohol, and make strides towards their personal goals. Our educators complete eight lessons over the course of eight weeks building rapport and environment that encourages positive social behaviors. Our results are powerful; young people who are equipped with the necessary skills to be strong, confident, leaders of tomorrow.
The Tulsa community is committed to the effort of building strong resiliency skills and reducing the risk factors for early drug use and abuse. Because of this commitment we can offer Tulsa schools a few options for no charge.

In Person Operation Aware Traditional Program
Operation Aware's in-person program utilizes a dedicated prevention educator who engages with the same group of students each week over eight weeks. This consistent and personalized approach ensures that students receive continuous guidance and support as they navigate critical topics related to substance abuse prevention.
The program's delivery includes:
Interactive classroom sessions.
Real-life scenarios.
Group discussions.
Activities designed to make the content relatable and inspiring for students.
This unique approach enhances the likelihood of successful implementation and fosters lasting behavior change. Providing students with a safe and supportive environment to explore these topics equips them with practical knowledge and valuable life skills. This consistent, engaging, and personalized delivery approach strengthens the program's impact and empowers students to make informed and responsible decisions regarding substance use and abuse.
This is the most popular form of implementation and requires flexibility when scheduling. Typically for a school with 4-5 classrooms of a grade level we will send one person to rotate through the classes for the day. For more information or to be considered for in person please complete the following form and email it to mstaples@operationaware.org.
